Indication:

Cypermil^® Pour On is indicated for the strategic control of horn flies (Haematobia irritans) in bovines.

Directions and Dosage:

The application of the product must be administered individually, with the animal restrained by hope, stall, narrow wood corral or bundle, through the topical route (pour on), with application in the dorsal line of the bovine, from the tail insertion to the middle of the neck.

The recommended dose of the product is 1 mL for every 10 kg bodyweight, which corresponds to 5 mg of the active ingredient Cypermethrin per kg of bodyweight, according to the table in the package insert.

For animals above 500 kg bodyweight, the maximum recommended dose is 50 mL.

Usually, the treatment in a single dose is sufficient to reduce the infestation; however, the management practices existing in each farm such as pasture rotation, premises, animal density, gender, as well as genetic or race characteristics may influence in the incidence of parasites and, as a consequence, the efficacy of the product. Hence, each farm may have different needs for parasitic control, and integrated and strategic parasite control is recommended, to be defined by the veterinarian.

BOVINE:

SLAUGHTER: THE SLAUGHTER OF ANIMALS TREATED WITH THIS PRODUCT MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT 24 DAYS AFTER THE LAST APPLICATION.

MILK: THE MILK FROM TREATED ANIMALS MUST ONLY BE INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION 78 HOURS AFTER THE LAST APPLICATION.
