Ivermectin ...................... 0.80 g

Albendazole Sulfoxide ...................... 10.0 g

Vehicle q.s.p. ............. 100.00 mL

Main Indications:

Ivermectin is a semi-synthetic derivative of avermectins, which are a group of chemically related macrocyclic lactones produced by the fermentation of the fungus Streptomyces avermitilis. This molecule is highly active against a large number of species of pulmonary and gastrointestinal nematodes, as well as mites, ticks, flies, and dipterous larvae. Albendazole Sulfoxide, a drug from the benzimidazole class, is indicated for the treatment of diseases caused by gastrointestinal parasites, both in their larval and adult forms. It acts on nematodes, cestodes, and some protozoa, and is also effective in liver and pulmonary parasitoses. Evol is a broad-spectrum endectocide for cattle, indicated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal nematodes Haemonchus placei, Cooperia punctata, Oesophagostomum radiatum, and Trichostrongylus axei; treatment and control of infestations by Dermatobia hominis (berne) and the tick Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus.
