Ourofino has been standing out every year as it collects prizes and titles which acknowledge actions from companies that are concerned with people’s well-being and with the environment.

The best pharmaceutical industry to work at

In 2013, Ourofino was elected Best Pharmaceutical Industry to Work for in Brazil, according to the guide Você S/A and ranked among the 20 best large companies to work at by the Época Guide, competing in all segments.

This was the seventh time in which Ourofino was awarded in the ranking Você S/A and the sixth in the Guide Época. Differently from prior years, in 2013, the company competed with large companies, with more than 1000 employees.

The award is the result of a survey with employees and the calculation is made by journalists from the publishers’ which assess the practices of Human Resources, People Management, training programmes, leadership, benefits, social actions, among other aspects.

“Amigos da Doação de Sangue” Stamp

Ourofino has received the social responsibility stamp “Amigos da Doação de Sangue”, granted by the Blood Bank of Ribeirão Preto. This is the third consecutive year in which the company is recognized for the participation in the donation campaign. The acknowledgment was due to the action carried out in 2012, when more than 250 employees were encouraged by the company and voluntarily participated in the blood donation campaign.

The professionals from Ourofino have also stood out in 2013. The technical director of Animal Health, Marcus Rezende, was elected the professional of the year by BeefPoint. Thales Vechiato, was awarded the prize Agrotalento 2013 which recognizes the best of Brazilian cattle raising aged between 25 and 45. Both prizes are granted by Beef Point, the main internet site for beef cattle news.

In the same year, Ourofino was also among the 20 best companies to work for in the ranking of Época magazine, competing with the largest from various segments in Brazil. The company figured in the category "Large Companies" (with over a thousand employees) and among the "Fastest growing companies" in number of vacancies when compared to the total employees (2012), with a rate of 23.3% in hiring.


The company has earned the outstanding Environment Certificate from the Environmental Journal of the State of São Paulo. The prize crowns the compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations highlighting the cause of preserving the environment.


It was awarded for being the most admired company in the veterinary sector on a survey conducted by the magazine Carta Capital.

On the same year, “Our vegetable garden” got second place on the category “Quality of life” from the Sodexo Vida Profissional Prize, from Sodexo Motivation Solutions, which values and multiplies practices on the management of people, applied in companies of all sizes, sectors and regions of Brazil. The program started in 2009 and has been an initiative of the co-founder and partner of Ourofino, Norival Bonamichi.


Ourofino has won the national phase of the Finep Technological Innovation Prize, on the category Large Company and for the first time was placed among the 150 Best Companies to Work for in Brazil, according to the Exame-Você S/A Guide.


Ourofino has become the first company of the Brazilian Agribusiness to get the prize Master of Business of Entrepreneur of the Year, from Ernst & Young. On the following year, it represented Brazil on the global edition of the competition, in Monte Carlo, Principality of Monaco.
